Manoj was instrumental in starting Avendus PE in 2009. He formulated the firm's business strategy, built its investment team and has been managing clients' capital under two PMS strategies to invest in listed mid cap companies in India. Both the strategies have outperformed the broader market indices. Some of the examples of the investments which were managed by the Manager include Kokuyo Camlin Limited, TTK Prestige Limited, V Guard Industries Limited and Nilkamal Limited. Manoj has 20 years of experience in managing public and private equity funds and strategic management consulting.

Prior to starting Avendus PE, he managed mergers and acquisitions at A.S. Watson (the US$ 11 billion subsidiary of Hutchison Whampoa), managed CDPQ's (Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec – Canada's largest pension fund) direct investment portfolio for Asia Pacific and led investments for GE Asia Pacific Capital Technology Fund for the Asia Pacific region. He made successful media investments in India including UTV Software Communications Limited (UTV) and Entertainment Network India Limited (ENIL) (also known as Radio Mirchi) and has served on the boards of UTV and ENIL for several years. He was instrumental in formulating business strategies for Indian companies as a management consultant with Tata Strategic Management Group. He holds Master in Management degree from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Masters in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, and B. Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Shrikant has more than 10 years of experience in alternative asset management and management consulting. Shrikant joined Avendus Group in November 2008, and since then, he has been involved in making multiple investments across diverse sectors. Prior to Avendus PE, Shrikant has worked with JM Financial Investment Managers, Accenture Consulting (Strategy Practice), ECS Ltd and CSFB. He has rich investment experience across both private equity and public market asset classes and has made investments in the infrastructure, fast moving consumer goods, consumer durables and financial services industries. Shrikant has done his B Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Mythili Balakrishnan has 9 years of public markets experience in investing and equity research. She joined Avendus PE in January, 2011. Prior to joining Avendus PE, she was involved in long term investing in Indian listed companies at Nalanda Capital in Singapore and at Motilal Oswal Asset Management in Mumbai. Prior to working with Nalanda Capital, she was equity research analyst with JP Morgan covering IT and Technology sector for 5 years. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.

Dhaval has close to 9 years of experience in private equity and risk management consulting. He joined Avendus PE in December, 2011. Prior to Avendus PE, Dhaval has worked with India Value Fund and KPMG. At India Value Fund, Dhaval was a member of the team that successfully raised ~ USD 700 million. He has experience in the field of private equity fund raising, investor relations, debt raising, private equity asset monitoring, valuations, implementation of enterprise risk management and governance framework, Sarbanes Oxley implementation and tax and regulatory advisory. Dhaval holds a Bachelor's degree in commerce, a qualified Chartered Accountant - India and Certified Internal Auditor - USA.

Ankush has 6 years of private equity, public markets and investment banking experience. He has been with Avendus PE since its inception and has been part of most investments made by the firm. Prior to Avendus PE, he has worked with Mayfield Fund (as part of its strategic partnership with Avendus Capital) and Axis Bank (Investment Banking). He has experience of investing in both public markets and private equity in sectors which include consumer durables, FMCG, building materials, kitchen appliances and infrastructure equipment sectors. He has done his BTech degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
